Connect your AI

Ravnik connects to AI tools through MCP, a standard way for an AI to read and write your workspace. You sign in once with OAuth and choose which projects the tool can reach.

Server URL

MCP server URL
https://www.ravnik.io/api/mcp

Note

Use www. in the URL. Some clients do not follow the redirect from the bare domain.

Claude

  1. In your Claude connector settings, add Ravnik as a custom connector using the URL above.
  2. Sign in and approve access, choosing the project or projects Claude may use.
  3. In a new chat, ask: “Get the session briefing for my Ravnik project.” If it returns pinned pages and open actions, you are connected.

Tell your AI which project it is working in

Paste this into your project instructions, with your project’s name and ID filled in:

Project instructions
This work belongs to the Ravnik project <project-name> (ID <project-id>). Pass the project ID on every create. When updating an existing object, also pass expectedProjectId. If a call fails with project_mismatch, do not retry: tell me which project the object is in. Read status with the project ID, not organization-wide.

The project ID is in the app’s address bar when you open a project: it is the part after your organization name, as in /app/your-org/<project-id>.

Troubleshooting

  • Tools missing or out of date: disconnect completely, then reconnect through OAuth. Refreshing, restarting or opening a new chat does not fix it.
  • “projectId is required” error when creating something: your organization has several projects, so add the project ID to your instructions (above).
  • project_mismatch (409): the object is in a different project than you expected. Nothing was written.

Warning

Do not retry after a project_mismatch. Check which project you meant first.
